Management Resources Group is a partnership owned and managed by Karen and Al Motowicki.

Karen is a graduate of Clark University (Worcester, Massachusetts) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Her business career started in 1980 when she started Riverchase Personnel in Birmingham, Alabama. Karen and her staff placed sales, administrative, and management personnel with large clients including AmSouth, Southern Research, Sonat, U.S. Steel, and several large law firms.

As a result of focusing on the restaurant market in the mid-1980s, Karen was personally retained by Mrs. Winners Corporation as a corporate consultant responsible for the recruitment of its internal management. Seeing that she was filling an unmet need, Karen sold Riverchase Personnel in 1989 and created Management Resources Group to serve Mrs. Winners and its successor, RTM/Arby's, which became Arby's Restaurant Group, which has recently bought out Wendy's International. Since then, her services have been retained by numerous corporate restaurants, chains, and holding companies.

Al is a graduate of Kentucky Wesleyan College (Owensboro, Kentucky) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. Al has owned and operated numerous restaurant concepts (pub, casual, and fine dining) and understands the unique requirements associated with each theme. Al also has extensive sales management and human resources experience. Al became a Partner in Management Resources Group in 1994.
